Unease as disqualified PDP presidential aspirants threaten to fight back

More trouble might befall the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, following the disqualification of two presidential aspirants during the screening in Abuja on Friday.

Recall, that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, screening committee led by former senate president Senator David Mark had disqualified two presidential aspirants during the party’s screening exercise on Friday.

Though, the screening committee did not disclose the identity of the disqualified presidential aspirants to newsmen. However, a close source to one of the disqualified presidential aspirants told newsmen that the screening committee was bias and wrong in its action.

The source said his principal will fight back to reclaim his mandate to participate in the party’s primaries, arguing that the committee does not have such rights to disqualify any aspirant.
