Warri Reps 2027: Mulade Receives Royal Blessings From Gbaramatu Monarch, Pledges to Complete Escravos Free Trade Zone Project

The Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and Flagbearer/Candidate of the National Democratic Party, NDP, for Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has paid a Homecoming Courtesy Visit to His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, The Pere of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The ceremony, held at the Palace of the Pere in Gbaramatu Kingdom, was marked by royal blessings and a warm reception by the traditional council, chiefs, and people of the Kingdom.

Speaking during the visit, Chief Mulade, who is a son of the Kingdom, said his homecoming visit was to formally inform His Royal Majesty of his aspiration to represent Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly under the platform of the National Democratic Party, NDP, and to seek the King’s royal blessings and fatherly counsel.

In his address to the monarch, the House of Representatives Candidate reeled out his key commitments to the people of Warri Federal Constituency when elected.

According to him, he would prioritize and work towards the completion of the Escravos Free Trade Zone project, which he noted would bring immense economic benefits, job creation, and development to the entire Warri Federal Constituency.

Chief Mulade also pledged to promote unity among traditional rulers within the Warri Federal Constituency, stressing that peace and unity among the traditional institutions is fundamental to sustainable development and peaceful co-existence in Warri.

He further assured that his representation would be purpose-driven and anchored on grassroots engagement, ensuring that the voices and needs of the common people at the grassroots form the basis of his legislative agenda in the House of Representatives.

In his response, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, The Pere of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, commended Chief Mulade for the honour of the homecoming visit and offered royal prayers for his political journey.
