We destroyed Russian armoured tanks in western Kyiv -Ukrainian military

Following the massive invasion of the Ukraine by Russia troops, the Ukrainian military has given its first account of explosions that rocked western Kyiv in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the Ukrainian Military Law Enforcement Service, the country destroyed a column of equipment of the occupiers” in the Beresteiska district in Kyiv.

“A preliminary information of Ukrainian military, about 2 cars, 2 trucks with ammunition, and also with the help of NLAW anti-tank missiles an enemy tank was destroyed,” said the service.
However, this account is yet to be verified at press time.

It would be recalled that the United Kingdom supplied NLAW anti-tank missiles to Ukraine in the weeks before Russia’s invasion.
