“We Will Resist Membership Fraud Plot” – Zamfara ADC Rep. Raises Alarm

Fresh controversy is brewing within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State as members of the party in Anka and Talata Mafara Local Government Areas have sounded a strong warning against alleged attempts to manipulate and forge existing membership figures.
The concerned party members accused unnamed individuals of plotting to alter already registered membership numbers, describing the move as a threat to the integrity and credibility of the party structure in the constituency.
A statement by Nura Rabiu Cibiki, Director of Media and Strategy, Campaign and Mobilization Committee of Abdulrahaman Yahaya the party aspirant for the Anka/Talata Mafara Federal House of Representatives seat.
In a statement released on behalf of the group, the members maintained that they were fully aware of the genuine strength of registered party members and would not allow any individual or group to distort established records.
“We know our registered numbers. While justice can be delayed, the truth cannot be denied,” the statement declared.
The members strongly condemned any attempt to duplicate, inflate or manipulate legitimate membership figures, warning that such actions could further create tension and division within the party and among supporters in the constituency.
They stressed that members of the ADC in Anka and Talata Mafara had invested time and commitment in building the party’s grassroots structure and remained determined to safeguard its integrity.
According to the statement, party faithful in the two local government areas stand united and prepared to defend what they described as the authentic identity and democratic principles of the ADC.
The statement concluded with messages of solidarity to Anka, Talata Mafara, Zamfara State and Nigeria, reaffirming loyalty and commitment to the party’s growth and stability.
