Why PANDEF leader Pa Clark demanded for removal of Abia, Imo, Ondo from NDDC

The National leader of Pan Niger Delta Development Forum and Ijaw elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark has demanded for the exclusion of Abia, Imo and Ondo states from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The elder statesman explained that the above mentioned states were included in the 2000 NDDC Act for convenience, which he posited was a political aberration and long overdue for change.

Meantime, Clark had urged President Bola Tinubu to re-enact a new bill for the NDDC that would reflect the true oil-producing states of the Niger Delta, which are Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Edo and Akwa Ibom.
