Brain health has taken centre stage as Nigeria joined the rest of the world to commemorate the 2026 world brain day, with the federal government and its health partners calling for equitable access to quality neurological care for all.

The maiden national observance of the global event highlights the growing burden of Neurological disorders and underscores the need for increased public awareness, early diagnosis, timely treatment, and improved access to specialist Neurological care across the country.
