Yuletide: Asupa splashes food items, cash on constituents in Burutu

The member representing Burutu North constituency in Delta state house of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta has dolled out food items worth millions of naira and cash gifts to various political wards in Burutu North constituency.

Our correspondent who was live at the distribution centre reports that the lawmaker distributed about 40 bags of rice, 40 cartons of indomie noodles, 40 cans of groundnut oil and N300.000.00 naira cash gifts, and another N50.000.00 for transport of the food items to every ward in Burutu North constituency on Friday.

Speaking, the lawmaker said the food items and cash were dolled out to constituents out of love and were meant to benefit everyone irrespective of political parties in the various wards.

He further stressed that he had greater respect for every person and leaders in Burutu Local Government Area, adding that it was his usual style of supporting constituents during yuletide seasons.
