16-Year-Old Boy Kills His Father For Fighting Mum In Abuja

The men of a Nigerian police officer, federal capital territory, have apprehended a 16year old boy simply identified as Emmanuel John, for killing his father Monday John.

It was reported that Emmanuel used a pestle to kill his father when his father was fighting his mother, Mercy John.

One Yusuf Ayuba reported the case to the Karshi police station and stated that Emmanuel is in the police station and will be arranged in a juvenile court after investigation.

Haruna Garba, the FCT Commissioner of Police, affirmed the incident during a press briefing, stating that Emmanuel hit his father hard on the head with a pestle.

He stated that the hatred between the deceased and his wife led to Emmanuel taking his mother’s side, resulting in the fatal assault.

“It all happened when the suspect’s mother and father engaged each other in a physical fight. The suspect took sides with his mother and used a pestle to hit hard on the father’s head which eventually led to his death. The suspect will be arraigned in a juvenile court after the investigation.” Garba stated
