2 Die, 5 Injured In Multiple Auto-Crash On Eko Bridge

Following the sad incident that occurred in Eko Bridge, two people were killed and five others injured in a multiple vehicle accident on Eko Bridge inward Alaka, Surulere, Lagos State on Wednesday, August 9.

The accident involved six vehicles: a fully loaded truck, a Lexus Jeep, a Toyota Camry, a minibus, and others.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) said the accident was caused by brake failure. The truck, which was on top speed, collided with the five other vehicles.

Two people, a male and a female, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The five injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital.

LASTMA and other emergency responders were on the scene of the sad incident to clear the wreckage and direct traffic.

The agency however advised motorists to be cautious while driving, especially during the rainy season.
