2023: Ijaw Sheriff Grassroots Movement Canvasses Support for Oborovwori, Ejele, Pondi, Asupa

A Pro-PDP political group under the auspices of IJAW GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION FOR SHERIFF 2023 has canvassed support for Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Evang Michael Diden, alias Ejele, Delta South senatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi , Burutu federal constituency, Reps candidate and Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, Burutu North candidate for Delta State House of Assembly.

The group made the endorsement in a statement by its coordinator, Mr Afore Theodore which a copy was sent to Congress correspondent on Thursday.

Theodore emphasized that Oborevwori, Ejele, Pondi and Forteta are Burutu choices, expressing confidence that the endorsed candidates would bring rapid transformation and empowerment to the council area when elected.

The group urged various party candidates to step down and throw their supports for all PDP candidates to take Delta and Burutu LGA to the next phase of development.

The statement reads, “Oborevwori, Ejele, Pondi and Forteta are vibrant politicians who have passion and love for the people of Delta state.

“Deltans and Burutu people are convinced that when given the opportunity again, they will transform Delta and Burutu LGA for the betterment of all.

“I tell you Burutu is awaiting to deliver all PDP candidates from governorship, senatorial to House of representatives and House of Assembly comes February 25 and March 11.

It’s time to pay back all they have been doing for us,” Theodore added.
