2023: Twist as S’Court orders fresh ward delineation in Warri LGAs

Ahead of the 2023 elections the Supreme Court has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct fresh delineation of Electoral Wards and Units in Warri South West, Warri South and Warri North Local Government Areas of Delta State.

This was following by a suit by Mr George Timinimi, challenging the previous delineation exercise in the aforementioned local government areas.

The supreme court hearing an appeal by Mr George Timinimi, a Delta south senatorial candidate of APGA , ordered INEC to carry out the fresh delineation in the affected LGAs before the conduct of future elections in the affected areas.
