Tragedy as 68 die in fresh plane crash

There is pandemonium in Pokhara on Sunday, January 15, 2023 as domestic flight crashed in Pokhara in Nepal, in Asia continent, killing about 68 passengers, according to the country’s Civil Aviation Authority.

The domestic plane was said to have been carrying 72 passengers from the capital Kathmandu crashed midway.

The incident was described as
worst air crash in three decades in the small Himalayan nation.

Photo footage showed Nepalese rescue workers and civilians gathered around the wreckage of the passenger plane in Pokhara, Nepal hillside.

The crash was described as Nepal’s deadliest since 1992, the Aviation Safety Network database showed, when a Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A300 crashed into a hillside upon approach to Kathmandu, killing all 167 people on board. (AP/Reuters).
