4 escape death as tricycles collide in Udu

About four persons have escaped death as two tricycles collided on Orhuworun road on Monday evening.

The incident occurred at about 5:pm when an over speeding tricycle rider collided with another tricycle that was trying to take a turn at Ekete waterside junction, Orhuworun road.

The source said the tricycle that was taken a bend received serious impacts as it somersaulted severally with four passengers in it.

It was learnt there was no death recorded, but the occupants of the impacted tricycle were seriously injured, and a particular passenger had a dislocation in one of his legs.

Meanwhile, victims had been rescued at various health care centres in the area.
