94-Year-Old Herbalist Nabbed By Police For Defiling Minor in Adamawa

The men of Nigeria police, Adamawa state police command has nabbed a 94-year-old man, simply identified as Muhammad Abubakar, for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old minor.

A statement signed by Sulaiman Nguroje, the State Public Relations Officer, revealed that the suspect had been in the act of deceiving young females by gifting them sweet items.

It was learnt that the recent incident occurred on 18 August, when the victim was passing by the suspect’s house.

Suleiman stated that the suspect called in the victim into his house and took advantage of her.

However, investigation on the case reveals that the suspect while committing the act rubbed some concoction in the form of perfume on the victim, which made the victim ill after the incident.

Reacting to the development, the Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babtola frowned at the incident.

He called on the members of the public, and parents to be watchful of their children against criminal-minded people.
