BREAKING: Delta abducted lawyer Odje regains freedom

Following a police manhunt for the abductors of the Warri-based lawyer, Dr Akpomudiaga Odje, was reportedly released on Sunday.

Confirming his release, his friend Omes Ogedegbe Esq said he was released on Sunday, adding that he had spoken with him.

He said, “I am happy to tell you that Dr Mudiaga Odje has been released and has been reunited with his family.”
But he didn’t disclose whether ransom was paid for his release.

Recall, the Warri based-human rights lawyer, Odje was kidnapped at about 6:30 pm on Sunday at his chamber adjacent to Warri Main Market, Delta State.

However, an effort to reach the Delta police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe for comment was abortive at press time.
