Ozobo congratulates Izoukumor, Okpoye on DESOPADEC appointment

The Special Assistant to the governor of Delta State on political matters, Comrade Ozobo Austin has felicitated Chief Favour Izoukumor on his appointment as one of the executive directors of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and Mr Spencer Okpoye being appointed as commissioner representing Ijaw nationality in the board of DESOPADEC.
This was asserted in a statement which he signed by himself and a copy was sent to newsmen on Thursday.
The governor’s aide commended His Excellency Sen Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing service-oriented Ijaw sons to the board of DESOPADEC, adding that their appointments are well deserved.
He said Izoukumor and Okpoye are men of track records after serving humanity in various capacities in government and out of government.
Ozobo assured Deltans and Ijaws that the duo would render the needed services to the state and Ijaw Oil Producing Areas and impacted communities in the state.
He appealed to Izoukumor and Okpoye to run all-inclusive policies on the board, adding that accessibility and readiness to solve the problem of people within the coverage of the board is of high essence.
The activist prayed for God’s divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding upon the duo to plot the affairs of their respective offices.
