Subsidy Removal: Daily Fuel Consumption Reduces From 66m To 40m – Alex Otti

Following the petroleum subsidy removal by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his Inauguration, the executive governor of Abia state has stated that daily fuel consumption had reduced.
According to the governor, he asserted after the National Economic Council meeting with the vice president Kashim Shettima, at the Council Chamber, presidential Villa Abuja, that the daily consumption of petroleum by Nigerians had reduced from 65 million to 40 million.
Otti maintained that the focus of the meeting was on the removal of petroleum subsidy which had led to some convergence.
He asserted that the major reason for the reduction of daily fuel usage in Nigeria is because of the increased in price.
