Tension as Wetland Hotels Set Ablaze in Delta

Tension is heightened as a mysterious fire engulfed a popular Hotel and suite, the Wetlands Hotels in Ughelli in Delta State.

The incident occurred on Tuesday in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State where fire gutted the hotel building.

A trending video on social media, displayed the fire scene as people were found streaming and lamenting the unfortunate incident.

Investigation into the incident showed that the fire destroyed properties worth millions of naira and burnt down a section of the hotel.

Meanwhile, it is not clear whether there was a casualty in the incident, following the report that lodgers were in at the time of the wildfire.

However, the true cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown at the time of filing this report as some blamed it to be electric spark.
