Renowned Niger Delta Activist, Comrade Ozobo Austin has called on new Service Chiefs to end religious killings and kidnappings perpetrated by Fulani fanatics in Nigeria.

He said under the watch of the immediate past president Buhari thousands of Nigerians were killed and abducted due to negligence and compromise.

Ozobo in a brief statement said with the level of killing spree in Nigeria, lives are no longer sacrosanct as enshrined in the country’s constitution.

The rights activist explained that the military negligence and perceived compromise gave room for the massive killings and kidnapping by the Fulani herdsmen and religious fanatics.

The statement reads: “All new service Chiefs should endeavour to avoid compromise in carrying out their duties and deal decisively in ending banditry and barbaric ethnic killing in the country. We will not condone the nonsense that happened in the Buhari administration. They should beef up security in the federal highways and clear all strongholds of the bandits, kidnappers and Fulani militants.”
