Buhari Neglected Niger For 8 Years Because of IBB – Jonathan

The former Commissioner for information, culture and tourism in Niger state, Jonathan Vatsa, has berated Ex-president Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly neglecting Niger state during his administration because of ex-military president General Ibrahim Babangida.
Recall, General Ibrahim Babangida led the country as military head of state on August 27, 1985.
Jonathan stated that despite the overwhelming support Muhammadu Buhari received from Niger state in 2015 and 2019, his administration shut door against the state.
This is according to his statement during an interactive session with newsmen in Minna, Niger state.
Jonathan maintained that Niger state polled out the highest votes for Buhari in 2015 and 2019 but regretted that the state got in return was total neglect in all aspect of human development.
He stated that the whole mess happened to a whole state because of a personal hatred to one person, adding that over 15 federal projects in the states awarded by Buhari were all abandoned.
However, he appealed to the present administration of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to redress the Buhari wrongs with right .
