Omo-Agege Was Sent To Mental Reformatory Training In US – Witness Tells Tribunal

Following the controversy surrounding the qualification of the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC to contest the March 18th gubernatorial election in Delta state, the election petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba has admitted materials evidence of the Social Democratic Party, SPD and its governorship candidate, Kenneth Gbagi.
Part of evidences received by the tribunal was a flash drive which contained three videos of Omo-Agege, and were played to the supporters of both the petitioner and defendant.
The evidences tendered were admitted by a three member panel of justice, presided over by Justice H.C Ahuchaogo.
The petitioner lawyer presented the certified true copies of bundles of documents, from alleged forgery and multiple misconduct.
Gbayi maintained that Omo-Agege tendered false claim in form EC-9 presented to the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
He stated that Omo-Agege gave his name as Omo-Agege Ovie Augustine, whereas in the same form in his West African Senior Secondary Certificate, WASSC, the name was revealed as Agege Augustine.
He told the tribunal that Omo-Agege was indicted for criminal offences and deported to Nigeria from United States of America, over fraudulently obtained identification card number, which he was
sent to mental reformatory training in US.
However, he maintained that Omo-Agege refused to disclosed that he had dual citizenship.
