Senator Nwoko to partner SWUYN for unemployed youths empowerment projects

The Senator representing Delta North at the red chambers Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, said he will partner with the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) for its proposed empowerment projects for unemployed youths in the country.
The Senator made the remarks during a meeting with some executives of SWUYN on Thursday January 16, 2025, at his office in the Senator building of the National Assembly.
He said, he had read the group’s mission and vision which aligned with the project he is pursuing in order to help the unemployed comprising different categories of people in the society.
The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Eric Ogbekene of E&O Consults, a consultant to the Senator and at the instance of the Director of Communications in the office of Senator. Hon. Gloria Okolugbo.
The meeting centred around potential areas of collaboration between SWUYN and Senator Nwoko’s office.
The delegation, comprising Comr. (Barr.) Daubry Ebipade Richard, National Legal Adviser Comr. Romoke Wasilat Ahmad, National Media and Publicity Secretary and Comr. Ezonfade Daniel Okringo, FCT Abuja Chapter Secretary, who all met and spoke on behalf of the National President, Comr. Preye V. Tambou and other members of the society.
However, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with the Senator with a promise to have an extended meeting with the society in weeks to come.
The group appreciated Senator Nwoko’s willingness to engage with our group and explore opportunities for collaboration.

National Media and Publicity Secretary of the group explained, “while we look forward to continuing our discussions and potentially working together to address the challenges faced by unemployed youths in Nigeria, we seek for others support in order to actualise the group’s proposed projects”.
The unemployed youths also appreciated the foresight and support of Mr. Eric Ogbekene of E&O Consults, a consultant with the Senator and the Director of Communications in the office off the Senator Hon. Gloria Okolugbo who made sure we had fruitful deliberations with the senator.
