@ 66: Otuaro Hails PANDEF Leader Igali

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has congratulated the Nigeria’s former ambassador to the Scandinavian countries and national chairman of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Dr Godknows Boladei Igali, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

Dr Otuaro described Ambassador Igali as an elder statesman, seasoned career diplomat, scholar and author, who distinguished himself in public service.

He celebrated the PANDEF leader for his meritorious service to the country, and contributions to the development of Bayelsa State, Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta.

According to him, Ambassador Igali is a man of honour, well-respected Pan-Niger Delta leader and significant pillar of the region, whose voice resonates within and outside the shores of the nation.

Dr Otuaro congratulated the retired federal permanent secretary and former secretary to the Government of Bayelsa State on attaining the milestone, and prayed to God to grant him more wisdom, good health, and long life.

The PAP boss said, “I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers of elder statesman and national chairman of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, PhD to celebrate him on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

“Ambassador Igali distinguished himself as a seasoned career diplomat and public servant. Though retired, he is not tired. He has dedicated himself to the peace and development of the Niger Delta, and the people of the region are proud of his selfless service.

“Ambassador Igali remains an inspiration in meritorious service to fatherland. I pray that God will keep him, and give him more wisdom, good health and a long life.”
