Sen. Yari’s Wife Shares Food, Cash to Over 700 Less Privilege, PWD’s in Mafara Align With RHI

The wife of former Zamfara State Governor, Hajia Asama’u Abdulazeez Yari and Senator representing Zamfara West distributed food and cash to patients on sick beds, less privileged and persons living with disability (PWD’S) in Talata Mafara.

Hajiya Asma’u Yari spearheaded the outreach where more than 700 people encompassing patients, caregivers, and persons with disabilities from Talata Mafara General Hospital and the town, benefited from the gesture.

The outreach targeted various hospital units and vulnerable residents living in Talata Mafara.

A statement by Hajiya Binta Yusuf Gusau said, Hajiya Asma’u Yari said, the effort is aimed at mitigating financial hardships by providing relief to the people.

“This gesture aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda and Initiative, of Her Excellency the first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu humanitarian services across Nigeria. The statement read.

Hajiya Asmau further said the humanitarian gesture will be extended to all the remaining six local Government areas of the zone.

The Hospital management, community leaders, and beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the timely intervention, noting that the financial and food assistance would help to alleviate medical expenses, nutritional needs, transportation costs, and other pressing requirements ahead of sallah celebration.
