Yobe Moves To Restore Electricity In Gujba, Gulani As Gov. Buni’s Rural Development Drive Gains Momentum
By Micheal Chukwuebuka
The Yobe State Government has commenced immediate intervention measures to restore electricity supply to communities across Gujba and Gulani Local Government Areas following the recent heavy windstorm that disrupted power infrastructure in the affected areas.
The intervention forms part of the administration’s broader rural transformation and infrastructure development agenda under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni, aimed at ensuring equitable access to essential services and improving the living conditions of citizens across the state.
In response to the outage, a technical team from the Yobe State Rural Electrification Commission has been deployed to the affected communities and is currently conducting assessments, repairs, and restoration works to return electricity supply within the shortest possible time.
The swift response highlights the government’s commitment to responsive governance, sustainable infrastructure development, and ensuring that rural communities continue to benefit from ongoing developmental initiatives.
