By Micheal Chukwuebuka

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for referring to President Bola Tinubu by his first name, describing the action as disrespectful to the office of the president.

In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Dele Alake, the council urged Atiku to demonstrate decorum and respect for constituted authority.

The council also urged APC members and supporters to maintain civility, saying the party would focus on issues affecting Nigerians, the achievements of the Tinubu administration and its vision of moving the country from reforms to prosperity.
