Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, has urged the people of Ondo State to translate their 2 million registered voters into massive votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, reminding them that he is their son, therefore should take the lead.

This is even as he deployed 26 campaign vehicles to support grassroots mobilisation for the President’s re-election in 2027 during the inauguration of local government and ward coordinators on Tuesday in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, Chief Kestin Pondi, at the event, Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, stated “Become ambassadors and translate the 2m registered voters to votes.

“We are inaugurating local government and ward coordinators today with 26 vehicles to reach every nooks and crannies, and creeks to hear the PBAT story.

“The president is the son of the South West and he is doing well. Today, we no longer have fuel queues, we no longer have ASUU strike, salaries and pensions are being paid. Preach it everywhere. I urge you to encourage the President with your votes in 2027.

“Do not to be deceived by political opponents who have no history of verifiable results, but I appeal to you to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all elective positions in the 2027 general elections,” Tompolo stated.

Speaking at the inauguration and campaign mobilisation, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa while commending the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for supporting the effort of the state government towards the re-election of the President, said the state was already committed to the project.

Aiyedatiwa praised Tompolo for the vehicles and stressed that the donation is geared towards avoiding voter apathy and the vehicles would ease mobility and take the message of Renewed Hope to all parts of the state.

“Ondo State is for Asiwaju. That’s where we stand. So, let me thank the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for the donation of these vehicles that would ease mobility and ensure that our coordinators reach every part of this state.

“We will continue to welcome all support groups in support of the President and all APC candidates in the state. Any support group that is not for all our candidates would not be welcomed here. We guarantee you all the necessary support and security and assure you that there is no going back in this endeavor,” the governor said.

Speaking earlier, the national coordinator of the Movement, Hon. Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, called on the people of Ondo State to challenge the opposition and to ask them hard questions as to why the country is where it is today.

“You must ask the opposition very hard questions why our country is where it is today. Most of them were in power for long and left us where we are and it is for this reason that the President is taking the hard decisions for a better tomorrow.

“Today, our students are in school, no ASUU strike and they are getting their tuition paid and receiving allowances. To all the students in Ondo and beyond, this is the time to vote massively so that NELFUND would stay and continue to benefit many more of you,” Asuku urged the voters.

Also, the Ondo State APC chairman, Kolawole Babatunde, commended the governor for his continued support to local government and ward coordinators, telling the Movement that the state government has continued to deploy resources for the re-election of the president and all APC candidates.

He assured that Ondo state will deliver a minimum of 1 million votes to the president in 2027.
