Gov’ poll: Ozobo congratulates Oborevwori, thanks deltans for massive support

The Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta state, Amb. Ozobo Austin has congratulated the governor-elect Chief Sheriff Francis Oborevwori at Saturday’s governorship election in Delta state.

This was made known to newsmen in a statement on Tuesday morning.

The governor’s aide described Oborevwori’s victory as well deserved and dedicated it to God’s will and the commitment of Deltans against all oppositions.

He charged the governor-elect and his deputy, Chief Monday Onyeme, to put God first in ruling the state, adding that so long as they rule the state with the fear of God, they will succeed.

While congratulating him, Ozobo urged Oborevwori to give every part of the state equal development and empowerment opportunities.

He further stressed that Oborevwori should prioritise riverine/rural development in his MORE for Delta agenda such as the Ayakoromo bridge project, Burutu Marine school permanent site project, Bomadi /Ogulagha road project, riverine/rural electrification project, inter-communal road projects, Gbekebo/Ayakoromo sand-fielding and piling projects, Bomadi /Ojobo road project, improved riverine education and entrenching complete peace among Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja warring Communities and others.

Ozobo assured the Governor-elect of Deltans firm support for his administration, noting that he should learn to forgive and forget everything that had transpired during the election process.

He prayed God’s divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding upon Oborevwori to pilot the affairs in the state.
