A car knocks down middle-aged woman and zooms off in Warri

A middle-aged woman was knocked down by a reckless driver in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State yesterday evening.

The incident reportedly occurred at new layout junction, Ekpan near Warri on Tuesday evening.

The woman who is yet to be identified was knocked down when she was reportedly crossing the road.

The reckless driver fled after she was hit. The lady was rushed to a nearby hospital but was referred to Oghara Teaching hospitals in Delta state.

She was reportedly in coma as her leg and head are seriously affected.
