A hearing of the case of alleged possession of a firearm against Comrade Daniel Ezekiel and God’stime Ogidigba which was allegedly orchestrated by ex-militant Robert Okubor was fixed Tuesday at Benin high Court 1, Edo State.

It was learnt lots of concerned activists, political associates and friends of Ezekiel and God’stime visited the court on Tuesday to provide support for the duo to ensure justice is done for the accused persons.

The case was called at about 11 am but the hearing could not go on due to the absence of the prosecutor, witnesses and complainants in court on Tuesday.

The case was adjourned after the lawyer of the duo announced his appearance and the presence of the accused persons in court.

Recall, Ezekiel and God’stime were arrested and detained in Abuja in the penultimate months following an alleged clash between them and ex-militant Robert Okubor and his boys.

The duo said they are ready to pursue their case to a logical conclusion to ensure justice is done for their unlawful arrest and detention.

They alleged that the complainants were running from doing their case. According to them, even when they were invited by the IGP, they refused to honour it, is the fact lies peddled in their earlier petition had been exposed.

They urged the complainants to come out from their hiding places to do their case, adding that it would do them better for coming out to do their case.
