Again, Tompolo busts massive illegal oil pipeline behind military checkpoint in Delta

The leader of the defunct Movement For The Emancipation of Niger Delta, MEND, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo security outfit has busted another illegal pipeline connected by oil theft to be syphoning oil to tankers in tons in Delta state.

Tompolo’s security outfit the Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, said its busted another massive illegal crude oil pipeline connected to Trans Forcados Export Trunkline.
This came on the heels of a week later when an illegal 4 kilometre pipeline was discovered connected from the trans Escravos line into the sea.

It was gathered the illegal crude oil pipeline was reportedly connected directly to the high sea in Delta State.

According to GbaramatuVoice, the illegal pipeline discovered a few days ago was connected to the 48-inch Trans Forcados Export Trunkline in Burutu Local Government Area.

Sources alleged that the discovered illegal site was directly behind a military security post which is less than a kilometer from the Forcados Export Terminal in the terminal.

It was also reported that the illegal pipeline was connected to another abandoned pipeline located within the vicinity which is owned by AGIP Petroleum Company Limited.

Recall, Tantita Security Services Limited had apprehended a vessel named MT Deima with International Maritime Organisation (IMO) number 7210525 in Escravos river of the state.

Meanwhile, the MT Deima was set ablaze by military operatives 48-hours after it was arrested.
