Anambra 2021: INEC begins supplementary poll in Ihiala LGA

AKWA -The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has begun a supplementary poll in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state where election did not take place in the Saturday’s governorship election.

Congress gathered that the commission had earlier announced that due to violence threats, it could not hold election on Ihiala LGA on Saturday, adding that supplementary election would be held in the LGA on Tuesday.

Eyewitness said the election has already commenced in Ihiala LGA on Tuesday morning.

However, APGA candidate Soludo takes a lead with 18 local government areas out of the 20 being announced by INEC.
