Atiku/Okowa campaign team visits Jonathan over deepening party crisis

The Atiku/Okowa campaign team reportedly visited former President Goodluck Jonathan over the deepening party crisis on Thursday.

The visit was led by PDP Vice Presidential Candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor Bala Mohammed other PDP stakeholders.

The visit was centered on the anticipated victory of the party and the napping in the bud of the lingering crisis of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

It was learned the delegation includes top PDP Excos and members of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential campaign group.

Speaking during the visit, Bala Mohammed described the former president as a mentor and a man of integrity.

He admitted that Nigeria was much better during Jonathan’s past tenure, noting that the People’s Democratic Party would be glad to follow in his footsteps as a father.

In his remarks, Mr. Jonathan thanked and appreciated the delegates for the visit. He also prayed for God Almighty to grant them a safe flight to their various destination.
