Ayakoromo youths organise Major Oroso’s Remembrance fiesta April 25, invite the general public

Ayakoromo Youth Movement (AYM) led by Ekioatonye D. Stanley cordially invited the general public to grace their social fiesta in remembrance of their Patron, Late Major God’spower Douglas Oroso, alias Ekpele, on the 25th of April, 2022.

The Dogged Youth President, Ekioatonye D. Stanley shared with Congress news Nigeria that the Late Major God’spower Douglas Oroso was a true father and leader to Ayakoromo Youths when he was alive.

He narrated: “Late Major God’spower Douglas Oroso was indeed a patron to Ayakoromo Youths and all the aborigines in Ayakoromo federated community when he was alive.”

The Secretary-general to Ayakoromo Youth Movement (AYM) Comr. Areweremi Kesman Jeff posited that he had never seen such a philanthropic, benevolent, self-sacrificing, charitable, compassionate, public-spirited, and bighearted humanitarian as the Late Major Godspower Oroso.

He lamented: ” Late Major Godspower Douglas Oroso was the one who built and furnished a modern youth hall for Ayakoromo federated Youth Movement before his unfortunate departure, and as such it is pivotal and sacrosanct for the youths of the community to organize a social Fiesta in remembrance of him.”

Also speaking, Comr. Kenmore Boss Eniye, Raymond Lokiri and John Kem stated that the deceased was not the richest nor famous person in the community when he was alive but he proved to be distinct.

They added that Late Major Godspower Douglas Oroso was more than a leader, who had been helpful and a pillar to the youths of the Ayakoromo federated community before his sad death.

They added, ” We are going to make the social fiesta in remembrance of our patron colourful and lively on the 25th of April, and in other to achieve this, the following Dignitaries will be present on the ground: Chief Okpe Oyakemeagbagha Kenneth, chairman of the day, Mr Gbafade Desmond Edumogiren Father of the day, His Excellency Dr Braduce A. Angozi, Special Guest of Honour, Chief Clement Moni, Special Guest of Honour, Rt. Hon Godknows Angele, Special Guest of Honour, Rt. Hon Julius G. Pondi, Hon. Prince Sunny Perekeme, Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Otoro Ayabotu, Special Guest of Honour, Oweilaemi Pereotubo, Special Guest of Honour, Comr. Richard Momoh, Special Guest of Honour and a live music band display would be performed by Dj Angus.
