In Kaduna, some Fulani women have come to say that mistaken identity of their men being called as bandits were causing them problems in Nigeria.

The President Halima Usman Yoman Of Reube Fulbe Global Right and Development Initiative, addressing newsmen in Kaduna, she expressed her concern about the incident happening at Kakura community in Kaduna State, saying that it was no longer acceptable for soldiers and vigilantes to continue to  brutalize and tag their men bandits.

According to Yoman, such labeling made it difficult for their men to associate and move with others around the nation.

She added,  “we know in every society, we have bad people, but why is it that is the Fulanis that are at the receiving end?

“In Nigeria there are different tribes, some people are thieves, some are armed robbers, some are something else, but they have never said this tribes are bandits or they are rustlers, but still why is it Fulani that are receiving this at the end?

“Today we want to know, are we Nigerians? If we are Nigerians, Government should come to our help so that we can have free movement like other Nigerians in this nation, so, we are crying out, she said
