Bigborogha II: Kiagbodo abuzz, swings with dignitaries, impressive cultural displays in Day 2

The traditional headquarters of the Ngbilebiri-mein Kingdom, Kiagbodo, was abuzz with esteemed dignitaries on the second day of the final passage rites of His Royal Majesty, Bigborogha II. The gathering included traditional chiefs, princes, princesses, political office holders, business leaders, and many more.

The day’s proceedings commenced with the Orhobo and Olomu Children’s firewood presentation, followed by a captivating Egbu cultural dance performance. The Ugie-Oghoro Cultural dancing group then took center stage, showcasing their rich cultural heritage. This was followed by an impressive Oyangbene Cultural dance performance, further highlighting the diversity and richness of the kingdom’s cultural traditions.

In a notable address, Hon. Ebitonmo Alapala, alias Odumalagba, the Peleghabuodi 1 of Niger Delta and Minority Whip in the State House of Assembly, represented the Delta State House. He urged the Ngbile Chiefs and State men to embrace peace and unity within the Kingdom, emphasizing the importance of harmony and cooperation.

The second day of the burial celebration was marked by an outpouring of respect, admiration, and tributes to the late monarch, Bigborogha II, as the community came together to honor his memory and legacy.
