The Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) has commenced a general security meeting in Ijaghala Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, amid growing concerns over counter claims of ownership and alleged cases of kidnapping, torture raised from some Itsekiri youths.

It was learnt some days now when some Itsekiri stakeholders alleged that High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo kidnapped and torture some of their youths from IJAGHALA COMMUNITY but Gbaramatu Youth among other stakeholders outrightly debunked the claims, described it to be manipulated from the pit of hell.

The Gbaramatu kingdom has continued to claim ownership of the IJAGHALA COMMUNITY, insisting that the ownership of IJAGHALA is never in dispute.

According to the Gbaramatu Youth the meeting was to prove to the world that they own the IJAGHALA COMMUNITY, contrary to the claim by the Itsekiri stakeholders.

However, the meeting, which brought together youth leaders, community stakeholders, and security coordinators, is expected to deliberate on strategies to strengthen local security, promote peace, and address concerns raised by residents over the alleged incidents.

According to organisers, the gathering aims to enhance collaboration between community leaders and relevant authorities in tackling threats while encouraging residents to remain law-abiding and vigilant.

Further details from the meeting, including resolutions and official statements by the Gbaramatu Youth Council, are expected at the conclusion of the deliberations.
