Breaking: N/Delta activist Uranta dies

Niger Delta rights and environmental activist, a finest voice in the region, Tony Uranta has died.

Rivers state born activist untill his death was the United Niger Delta Energy Development Security Strategy (UNDEDSS) Executive Secretary and the Executive Secretary of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF).

It was learnt he died on Wednesday afternoon after a protracted illness in Rivers state.

However, Niger Delta leaders and youths expressed shock over his sudden death.
