BREAKING: Oborevwori floors Omo-Agege at Surpreme court

The Supreme Court has upheld the election victory of Sheriff Oborevwori at the 2023 governorship election in Delta State.

Congress learnt that the apex court upheld the election victory of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, His Excellency elder Sheriff Oborevwori against his major opposition, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

While delivering judgment on Friday morning, the apex court held that the Omo-Agege’s appeal lacked merit and the appellant was unable to discharge the burden of proof placed on him.

It would be recalled that Oborevwori secured victory in the March 18, 2023 election after winning 21 local government areas in the state, against four LGAs won by Omo-Agege.
