Chief Binebai is buried at his home town, Burutu

Chief Tom Michael Binebai, foremost leader of Iduwini kingdom and Burutu local government area of Delta state has been finally buried in his home town Burutu, the headquarters of Burutu Local Government Area at about 2pm today (2nd April, 2022).

The historian whose remains arrived in the town at about 10am was buried in his compound amidst tears after a brief funeral mass at the Catholic Church in Burutu.

The event has been agog by personalities and foremost political leaders, activists, academicians and business gurus across Burutu.

The programme is still ongoing, and it might likely proceed to the night.
