Confab urges Delta CP to investigate pastor fingered for the killing of 2 tricycle passengers

The Rights group, Conference for the Actualization of Human Rights, CAHR, has urged the Delta State Commissioner of Police to fish out the alleged general oversea and policemen who were responsible for the killing of the two tricycle passengers in Uwvie, near Warri Delta State.

The group, in a statement signed by its secretary which titled: “In the Matter of Extrajudicial Killings of Two Youths At Ugbolokposo Community By Police Officers on Escort Duty ” said: “That the incident reportedly occurred at the Ogbolokposo junction on Tuesday 12th day of July, 2022 when a tricycle was alleged to have scratched a Prado jeep conveying the said pastor with covered plate numbers.

“That the police officers on escort duty jumped out of the jeep and chased after the tricycle and open-fire at the fleeing tricycle driver and the two passengers, killing two of the passengers at the spot. While the other sustained serious injured.

“We demand for a discreet investigation on the matter as we have it in good authority that the police officers have been identified,” they added.
