President Bola Tinubu has been urged by the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) to take immediate action to alleviate the country’s economic woes.

The coalition revealed in a statement released on Saturday by its President General, Goodluck Ibem, that the 2023 presidential election lawsuits are now concluded, and the president should now focus on resolving the current economic crisis.

According to COSEYL, a number of the present administration’s adverse policies have caused the hunger pandemic to spread over the entire country.

The coalition also bemoaned the naira’s unrelenting decline, which has impacted the cost of goods and services.

“The Aso Rock Villa’s comfortable setting doesn’t alter the reality that exists in our markets.

“President Tinubu needs to move quickly to address the high cost of goods and services in the nation by implementing aggressive economic policies that would stabilize the value of the naira.

“The president must act fast to save Nigerians from the present predicaments that Nigerians are currently facing”, the statement added.
