Delta 2023: APC panics as mammoth crowd overwhelms PDP mega rally in Burutu

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta state has stormed Burutu Local Government Council for her LGA mega rally on Tuesday.

A source said members of the All Progressives Congress APC, who saw the mammoth crow in the LGA rally in Burutu were shocked. While expressing disbelieve, they agreed that Burutu is truly a PDP-controlled LGA, having seen the overwhelming turnouts of party faithful and supporters.

According to the source, Burutu APC members were left with a palpable confusion about whether truly their party’s governorship candidate, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, the deputy Senate president could withstand the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori Francis at the 2023 general elections.

Congress reports that Burutu was truly agog following the massive turnouts at the PDP mega rally, the arena was flooded with the party’s faithful, supporters, leaders, and stakeholders.

There was truly an indication that the urutu people love PDP, and are ready to deliver all PDP candidates in the next year’s general election.

The rally was like a carnival, it’s full of several side attractions, entertainment, and excitement. The party’s members from every nook and cranny trooped out to attend the mega rally in Burutu LGA headquarters.

Among dignitaries at the mega rally were, His Excellency, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the governor of Delta state doubles as the vice presidential candidate of PDP, His Excellency Barr Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, deputy governor of Delta state, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori Francis, the governorship candidate of PDP, Delta state, Monday Onyeme, PDP Deputy governorship candidate, Barr Kingsley Esiso, PDP state Chairman, Dr. Braduce Angozi, former Delta state governors aspirant of PDP, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, Senior political adviser to the governor and director general of Delta state PDP campaign Council, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, commissioner of Oil and Gas, Director of campaigns media, Wing commander P.Y Biakpara, the chairman PDP Delta South reconciliation and peace committee, Michael Diden, PDP Delta South senatorial candidate, Rt.Hon.Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu federal constituency, and PDP candidate of House of reps.
