Delta 2023: Forget about betrayers, stand with me on the advocacy for Ijaw governorship, Ozobo tells Ijaw youths

Foremost Niger Delta rights activist and president of Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, Comrade Ozobo Austin has urged Ijaw youths to forget about betrayers among Ijaw nation and stand with him for the advocacy of Ijaw governorship come 2023.

This was contained in a statement sent to our Congress newspaper on Saturday morning. According to him, God had decided to sympathize with Delta Ijaws to liberate them from political backwardness and added that an Ijaw candidate had been chosen already by God to succeed His Excellency senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

He stated that Ijaw would come out victorious at the PDP primaries, noting that there was no point in being panic.

Ozobo said there was no going back for the Ijaw governorship in Delta state come 2023, adding that he would stand with the Ijaw nation till the last day.

The dogged activist also said the Ijaw nation would disown youths and leaders who were betraying the Ijaw nation at the appropriate time.

The rights advocate, however, called on Ijaw youths to massively advocate for the Ijaw governorship ambition ahead of PDP primaries in the state.
