Delta governor assigns Enerhen junction flyover supervision to Manager

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has assigned the supervision of Enerhen Junction to 1st Marine Gate Flyover Project construction to the Commissioner for Special Projects, Barr. Funyei Manager.

This is according to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary ( CPS) to the Governor, Sir Festus Ahon, on Monday in Asaba, where he said Manager is to take charge of the project supervision to completion.

The Governor charged the Commissioner to be diligent in the supervision to ensure that the contractor delivers world – class standard project for the use of Deltans, residents and visitors to the oil-rich city.

Congress learnt that the Enerhen Junction to First Marine Gate Flyover is among the three flyovers and road expansion projects recently awarded to German construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.

However, the contract for the construction of the three projects was signed on Tuesday October 17, 2023.
