Don’t abandon Ayakoromo bridge project -Ozobo appeals to Okowa

The National President Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI has appealed to governor Ifeanyi Okowa not to abandon Ayakoromo bridge project, adding that completing Ayakoromo bridge project means a lot to Burutu people.

Ozobo who is the Special Assistant to the governor of Delta state on political matters, made this call while addressing section of media in Asaba on Friday.

The governor’s aide said more funding is needed if Ayakoromo bridge project should be completed in time.

Ozobo said economic activities of Burutu Local Government Area would boom when the bridge project is completed.

He also demanded that the contractor should be mobilized to site to resume work urgently to avoid creating wrong impression to the people about the project.
