A leading Niger Delta activist Comrade Ozobo Austin has warned against the use of maximum force on late Mohbad sympathisers who gathered in Lekki tollgate in a candle night precession.

This is according to a statement signed by himself and sent to Congress News correspondent in Lagos on Friday.

The rights activist who said the police should tread with caution added that Nigerians would not condone a repeat of what happened to poor protesters during the end SARS protest in Lagos tollgate.

Ozobo further said that the use of maximum force on lawful protesters is the height of unprofessionalism among Nigerian security operatives.

He, however, condemned the use of tear gas on peaceful protesters in Lekki tollgate yesterday night, saying the police action is a great injustice on the demand for justice for the death of Mohbad.
