DRUM BEATS FOR HIGH CHIEF ENGR KESTIN PONDI’S INSTITUTIONALISED KINDNESS FOR HUMANITY, By Asiayei Enaibo (Opinion)

Kindness is inbuilt. People are kind not because of the trillions they command but because God has made them the spinners in the great web of humanity. And these people never lack the all-round need watering from the CRAFTER of this attribute as it’s categorically stated in Proverbs 11:24-25, let me take a slight moderation to the quote, “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth, and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”( KJV)In the insecure land, God stations security beyond human neutralization; in the poverty-stricken land, He becomes their riches, and so much more – they don’t lack! As it is written in the book of Proverbs, so it’s also written in the Book of the Gbaraun Egbesu.

Pondi has become this blessed institution of kindness, the Messiah, who heals the physical challenges of the Urhobo Bass Guitarist at the Gate of the Society, where several persons have seen him pass-bye The story of Mr. Simon, who was born with two hands amputated but gifted with a talent from the Maker who made even the physically challenged work for themselves, is the story the Talking drum carries today.

God created everyone with hidden potential no matter how deformed one could be through the pedal of challenges. The potential innate in one could create that saving means of survival in one’s conditions. God made men and attached each man with a deep feeling of that soul personality magnates—the helper you seek. Once you come in contact with that person, your case becomes settled, and God too rests. God, in the divine making of the universe, has already created your helper somewhere. You have to wait and keep yourself pure for the fixed time designed by God, and the will of his creation must come to pass. Every human on earth has a helper. The time fixed will always locate that moment beyond tribal attachment. Your helper could be someone from your tribe. It could be Urhobo, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw, or a foreigner. This is the divine magnetic aura within the universal consciousness.

In the presence of God, all humans speak the same language: one God, many languages, many pathways but prayers to one creator. The language difference is just a mundane condition. In the dwelling spiritual plane, all humans speak the same language.

The gift of a man draws him closer to King’s and Queens that will favour him. Your potential and commitment will pay you off with men who admire your passion and value the work you do.

The attributes of High Chief Kestin Pondi are woven around institutionalised kindness, generosity, and humility to both the young and old. He is the bridge that connects the poor to the rich; he is receptive and accommodative in his living. He is a man who fears the unknown and accommodates all, respects humanity, fears God, and lives a humble life and will always find satisfaction in God. He listens to all who come to see him and attend to all without any form of anger that sets him apart from others—-he is an embodiment of Dr Tompolo, the maker of the institution.

High Chief Engr Kestin Pondi, the MD of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, is a traditionalist who is a classic example of faithfulness in his belief and practice. He is submissive to the creeds and ethics of the Ijaw traditional heritage as the Wurutuawei of Bini-ebi Madinorbo, under the watch of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, as the Chief priest of Bini-ebi Madinorbo, the mother goddess of love, purity, truth and kindness. So believers wear the virtues of the goddess of love and kindness.

Over the years in the Niger Delta region, both men and women see Chief Kestin Pondi as an angel in human form. He pays attention to things that concern humanity. He is a complete gentleman with a high level of intellectual prowess, and he is always willing to proffer solutions to people’s problems. He is the purpose-driven enigmatic and wisdom-guided first son of Mr and Mrs Fullpower Pondi and the first grandson of High Chief Thomas Osen Ekpemupolo’s of Okerenkoko community in Gbaramatu kingdom and Pondi, Ogulagha Kingdom.

In this story that holds both Ijaw and Urhobo nations to a standstill,

Mr. Simon Oghenevwegba Djagbo, born on the 23rd of June 1987, hails from Eruwarhen community in Ughelli South local government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, a bass guitarist who has played in several secular music bands, both traditional Uhrobo songs, Christian and highlife music, on several occasions. He played the bass guitar in mysterious, unusual ways and a lot of people watched his staged performance but one day he came into contact with High Chief Engr Kestin Pondi who was touched and became the hand of God that uplifted him. His story changed like the Biblical woman with the issue of blood.

The music: “High Chief Kestin Pondi, Ebimie-Owei Dooh,” is a clear demonstration of the philanthropic kindness of High Chief Kestin Pondi for uplifting humans irrespective of their tribes, status and age. The music is dedicated to High Chief Kestin Pondi, who bought a house for Mr Simon from Urhobo— a bass guitarist whose two hands were amputated from birth. The music is about how Kestin Pondi met him, bought him a house, transformed his life, bought cars for people, trained students on scholarships to all levels, create employment opportunities for people and built houses for people—unique benevolence shown in the web of humanity. Chief Pondi’s keen interest in bringing solutions to all issues of human spheres and transformational agenda is a divine light that beams the searchlight of hope for the hopeless in the society.

This story was written by Asiayei Enaibo and became music composed by Frank B. to appreciate High Chief Kestin Pondi for his generosity, love, and kindness. The song in language is interpreted into writing to preserve the heritage of our language values and for others to feel the story in different ways.

His lovely wife, Chief Mrs Blessing Pondi, we deeply appreciate you. Greetings to Chief Mrs Ghana Pondi, the mother of High Chief Kestin Pondi. God bless you. We are deeply appreciative. It is our prayer that you live to be the oldest man in your community, with all the best life has to offer humanity.

Gbabrapa!
