Easter: Burutu LGA chairmanship aspirant, Ozobo admonishes underprivileged children to keep faith alive, preaches love, forgiveness

Leading Burutu LGA Chairmanship aspirant, Comrade Ozobo Austin, on Sunday, urged underprivileged children in Burutu LGA to keep faith alive for better Burutu LGA where milk and honey will flow and opportunities would for all.

Ozobo who doubled as the president of the Ijaw Publishers’Forum, IPF said Easter is a time to reflect the death of Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life in the cross of Calvary to redeem mankind of its sinfulness.

He commended Burutu leaders who imbibed on charitable giving to the needy and others who needed support at a particular instances. He said Christ symbolised love, peace, forgiveness, humility and purity, noting that the privilege people should see need to support the underprivileged children in Burutu and the world at large.

Speaking further, Ozobo said Burutu underprivileged children had nothing to worry about, stressing that when he is elected as executive chairman of Burutu LG council, he would put smile in their faces and make them see reason to live again.

He admonished Burutu youth to remain focused and join the league of progressives in building egalitarian society for the unborn children in the LGA.
