Ebikeme lauds Deltans for massive turnout in APC presidential/gubernatorial flag-off in Warri

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Barr Bosin Ebikeme has applauded Deltans for the massive turnout during the presidential/gubernatorial flag-off campaigns in Warri township stadium the last weekend in Delta state.

This was contained in a statement signed by himself and sent to a Congress correspondent on Wednesday morning.

Ebikeme, who doubled as the Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the Gubernatorial Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta state said he was glad for the massive but expected turnouts during the official flag-off of the Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaigns of the APC at Warri Township Stadium on Saturday, 19th November 2022.

He noted that Delta State is one of the richest States in Nigeria in terms of human and material resources, stating that the state is very behind in terms of Development at all levels.

The legal practitioner also maintained that the State is one of the highest beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s Revenue Allocation added even to the 13% Derivation Fund which accrues to Delta State as Oil Revenue, stressing that successive PDP rulers had not shown good sportsmanship.

According to him, this huge revenue base if wisely and efficiently harnessed can transform the State into a truly 21st-century vibrant and developing economy.

Ebikeme observed that sadly all of these natural endowments were being mismanaged by the OKOWA-led PDP administration in Delta State. ” Deltans are indeed weary of being subjected to this type of rudderless leadership since Okowa came to power in 2015.”

He lampooned the Okowa-led administration for its unbridled mismanagement of funds, selfish and vindictive style of governance, and insincere and sadistic management of the State’s resources.

Chief Ebikeme remarked that it was the sad state of affairs of Deltans for the past seven years of the Okowa government.

He roared that the unfortunate bad experiences of the people as it concerned project conceptualization and their shoddy implementation by the Okowa government were not in any way commensurate to the huge resources flowing into the State.

The APC leader stated that in Okowa’s desperate bid to cover up his tracks of ineptitude and humongous corruption and indeed perpetuate his plutocracy beyond 2023, Okowa had cloned himself in a puppet, accusing him of fronting Sheriff Oborevwori to plunder the State to stupor.

Chief Ebikeme further accused Okowa of mismanaging the State resources to foist a Third Term Agenda on Deltans as well as promoting the reputed lootoctrat, Dubai-based Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the Presidency of this great nation.

The APC faithful maintained that this was unacceptable to all well-meaning Deltans, and therefore, called on the people to resist and reject this evil agenda of Okowa by joining hands to vote out the PDP at the 2023 general elections.

He canvassed that this action had become urgent and necessary to save and secure the future of our dearly beloved Delta State and the future of Nigeria in general.

The Director of Contact and Mobilization for the OVIE OMO-AGEGE Gubernatorial Campaign Team assured Deltans that voting and making Obarisi Senator OVIE OMO-AGEGE (DSP) as Governor come 2023 would position the State to a better platform to guarantee real all-round growth and sustainable development for our people.

The APC scribe called on the people to vote for all the Candidates of the APC in all the elections and particularly called on Deltans to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of the Universe, a man that is tested and trusted, as President so that Deltans could have a seamless governance from the State to the Federal levels.

He concluded by saying that VOTING FOR APC in the 2023 general elections was the best decision for Deltans.
